Meta brings AI to glasses 🕶️ 

Meta has recently introduced the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, which have multimodal AI support 📈 

Here are the new features 👇

1. Video Calling: You can now share your view on a video call via WhatsApp and Messenger, all hands-free 🙌🏻

2. Meta AI with Vision: The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses come with Meta AI, that provides helpful information based on what you’re seeing. You can ask your glasses about objects, scenes, or anything else you encounter ✅

3. New Styles: The collection has expanded with fresh styles, including the Skyler frames (inspired by iconic jet-set style) and a new low bridge option for the Headliner frames 😎

These new additions to everyday glasses can turn out to be a big inflection point in the wearable AI industry 👓️ 

Adobe gives a facelift to Firefly 🔥🕊️ 

Just one year after launching Firefly, Adobe has introduced the new Adobe Firefly Image 3 Model. This latest version brings remarkable improvements in several areas:

1. The new model produces higher quality images, making them even more realistic and visually appealing.

2. It now offers automatic application of styles that match your prompt, allowing for greater creative expression.

3. Firefly Image 3 generates images with richer details, enhancing the overall visual experience.

The Adobe Firefly Image 3 Model is available in beta on the Firefly web app, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.

Apple (yet again) acquires an AI startup 🤖 

Apple has recently acquired Datakalab, a French AI startup that specializes in low-power AI algorithms designed for on-device processing rather than relying on cloud-based systems ✅ 

By incorporating Datakalab’s tech, Apple can deliver reliable performance, user privacy, and data security. The startup’s ability to compress neural networks for effective use on portable devices like smartphones and tablets likely played a key role in Apple’s interest 🤔 

Processing data locally minimizes the risk of data breaches and ensures faster processing times ✅ 

Microsoft reveals more LLMs 🤖 

Microsoft has introduced the Phi-3 family of small language models, designed to be both capable and cost-effective 📈 

Phi-3-mini is the first member of the Phi-3 family. It has 3.8 billion parameters. Despite its compact size, it outperforms models twice its size in various benchmarks related to language, coding, and math capabilities 💪 

And soon, they’ll release additional models within the Phi-3 family:

• Phi-3-small (with 7 billion parameters)

• Phi-3-medium (with 14 billion parameters)

These models will provide organizations with a portfolio of options, allowing them to choose the best fit for their specific scenarios ✅

   You can select among several “Suggested Tags” to describe your genre.
   

   

   You can also add your own lyrics to personalize your song even further 🎵
