• API pricing has been updated and is 2.7x cheaper for GPT-4 Turbo than previous pricing

• Lastly, OpenAI is introducing a Copyright Shield Program to help businesses avoid trouble with claims of stealing ideas when using its AI products.

This could prove to be a one of the biggest AI updates ever — there’s huge potential for new online business models considering the GPT marketplace and monetization of AI bots.

Introducing xAI’s “Grok” Model 🤖

Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has released its first AI chatbot called Grok.

Currently, it is being tested by a limited group of users in the US 🇺🇸 

Keep in mind that Grok has been learning for only 2 months, so you can expect some errors. But it's bound to get better over time ⏳️ 

It is expected to be available to the Premium+ subscribers via the X app soon.

But why choose Grok over ChatGPT ⁉️ 

Here are a couple of reasons:

• Grok has real-time access to information via the X platform, something ChatGPT can't do.

• Grok is designed to be more engaging and relatable than previous AI chatbots, and it is not afraid to express its own opinions and beliefs. ChatGPT is a more traditional AI chatbot, and it is designed to be objective and informative.

Collins Dictionary has named "AI" as its Word of the Year 2023. This decision was made after the usage of the word increased by 400% in the past year 📈 

AI can now diagnose diabetes? 🩺 

Researchers involved in a recent study trained an AI model to diagnose type 2 diabetes in patients after 6 to 10 seconds of listening to their voice. This will drastically lower the cost of diagnosis for potential patients.

Doritos uses AI to silence “crunches” for gamers 🎮️😂 

Doritos recently launched some software called Doritos Silent that uses AI to eliminate the distracting sound of snacking while gaming. It is designed to recognize the annoying sound of a Doritos chip getting crunched and delete it from the audio stream 🔈️ 

YouTube bringing AI to comments? 🤔 

YouTube premium users will be able to try out two new features that uses AI to summarize comments on videos. It will also summarize the topics of discussion in large comment sections underneath a video 📽️ 

They’ll even integrate an AI chatbot so you can chat with the platform and learn quicker.
