Stanford researchers have recently introduced Octopus v2, a new on-device language model which addresses critical issues related to latency, accuracy, and privacy that have been present in existing language models 🤖 

Octopus v2 has an impressive 2 billion parameters and operates directly on the device. This will eliminate the need for constant internet connectivity.

In terms of both accuracy and latency, Octopus v2 outperforms GPT-4 📈

Stability’s newest AI model 🤖 

Stability AI has recently launched Stable Audio 2.0, which is an update to their AI-generated audio model.

Stable Audio 2.0 will produce high-quality, full tracks with coherent musical structures. These tracks can be up to three minutes long ⏲️ 

Unlike its predecessor, Stable Audio 2.0 now lets users upload audio samples and transform them using natural language prompts 🎹

Waymo x Uber = More accessible smart cars 🤖🚗 

Waymo and Uber have recently announced a partnership that focuses to bring the Waymo Driver, their autonomous driving technology, to a broader audience through the Uber platform 🚗 

This collaboration will initially launch in Phoenix, where Waymo’s operations cover an impressive 180 square miles, making it the largest fully autonomous service area in the world. The integration of the Waymo Driver will be available to Uber users in Phoenix for both local deliveries and ride-hailing trips via the Uber and Uber Eats apps. Riders can still directly hail a Waymo vehicle through the Waymo One app ✅

Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, recently announced that the company is raising compensation for its AI engineering team, because OpenAI has been aggressively recruiting Tesla engineers with massive offers 🤔 

Musk himself called it the “craziest talent war” he has ever witnessed. Several Tesla engineers have been successfully poached by Musk’s own venture, xAI. Notably, ML scientist Ethan Knight, who was originally set to join OpenAI, ended up joining Musk’s team instead.

Even Mark Zuckerberg reportedly emailed several Google DeepMind employees in order to recruit them for Meta.

Here's a step by step 👇️ 

1. Visit AudioBox’s website and scroll down.
   
   

2. Simply select the “Record your voice“ button to use your audio sample.
