ChatGPT gets a voice 🗣️ 

OpenAI has started rolling out the Advanced Voice Mode for ChatGPT Plus users 🗣️ 

This feature provides more natural, real-time conversations and allows you to interrupt anytime. It also senses and responds to emotional intonations in your voice, such as sadness, excitement, or singing 😳 

The alpha version of this mode is currently available to a small group of ChatGPT Plus users, and it will gradually roll out to all Plus users in the fall of 2024 ✅ 

Meta’s makes video editing easy with AI 🤖 

Meta has introduced a new AI model called Segment Anything Model 2 (SAM 2), which can identify which pixels belong to a certain object in video.

SAM 2 extends the capabilities of its predecessor, SAM, which was limited to images, opening up new opportunities for video editing and special effects ✨

Canva acquires Leonardo.AI 🤑 

Canva has acquired Leonardo.AI, the generative AI content startup, as part of its efforts to improve its AI capabilities 📈 

This acquisition comes after Canva’s previous purchase of U.K. design company Affinity and further improves their position in the AI space ahead of their IPO offering in 2025 💰️ 

Apple rolls out new AI features, but…

Apple has introduced its Apple Intelligence features in the iOS 18.1 developer beta, but there are some limitations to be aware of.

The rollout of Apple Intelligence features is limited. Users with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPads and Macs running on M1 chips can try out these features in beta ✅ 

Incase you missed it, here’s the new features in the18.1 beta 👇️ 

  • A new animation for Siri.

  • You can invoke Siri using text prompts by double-tapping the bottom bar.

This means - no longer need to open a new tab, just access Gemini on the URL box.

Here’s how to do it 👇️ 

  1. Open Google Chrome for desktop and type "@" in the top bar.


    Select "Chat with Gemini" ✅ 

  1. Now, simply write your prompt next to “Chat with Gemini” text ✍️ 

  2. Press Enter and Chrome will answer you directly using Gemini ✅ 

    And that’s not all, you can directly use this Gemini integration to summarise YouTube videos as well ✅ 



    Keep in mind that the rollout is gradual, so it's possible that the feature will arrive a little later on your side 📆
