Disney’s new ‘childish’ looking AI robots 🤖 

Disney has been cooking some pretty cool stuff lately 🍽️ 

They just revealed these brand new child-like robot characters at a conference that are capable of expressing emotions like real humans 🤓 

These bots will have fancy cameras and sensors, allowing them to perceive their surroundings and interact with guests in a more realistic way.

That’s a lot of “AI functionality” squeezed into a small child-size body 😅

They are set to be deployed in Disney theme parks in the next few years,

This ChatGPT competitor is steadily expanding its reach

Claude, after only being available in available in 2 countries (US and UK), is now available in other 95 countries!

That’s a lot of countries! 🌍🌎🌏

The full list of supported countries is available on Anthropic’s website.

So, what does this mean for you?

Well, for starters, you can now access one of the most powerful competitors of ChatGPT, WITHOUT using a VPN 🤓

Microsoft's new AI assistant called Copilot can actually literally attend meetings for you!

If you're anything like me, you hate boring meetings. But now you can send your AI clone instead of going yourself 🤖

Here's how it works:

• It will attend the meeting in your place

• It will take notes and summarize everything discussed

• You'll get a meeting summary sent to your inbox afterwards

It's like having a personal assistant without paying a salary 😆

The tool is set to become available to all users from November 1st, following trials.

If you ask me, it sounds almost too good to be true 😵’

Soon we may not have to physically go to meetings at all. We'll just send our AI clones instead.

Change the way you interact with your PDFs with UPDF

I’ve been using AI productivity tools for a long time now ⏲️

And UPDF has definitely secured its spot as one of my all-time favourites

As you can tell by the name, this tool makes your life easier when dealing with PDFs (and by that, I mean a lotttt easier)

Unlike your usual editor, UPDF takes a different path. It uses AI to boost your PDF experience and introduce some amazing features.

Here are some to name a few:

• Annotation

• Converting

• Organization

• Protection

Here’s how you can get your hands on the tool:

1. Head to UPDF’s official website and sign up for a free account.

2. After signing in, just click on the “FREE DOWNLOAD” button on the top right corner of the screen.

3. After downloading and completing the setup, your screen should look like this.

Now, just upload a PDF of your choice.

(I’ll be using a quarterly report as an example here)

Now, what I am here to talk about tho, are the AI features, cause that’s really where it stands out.

Here are few of my favourite ones:

Summarizing your PDFs

Now after you have uploaded your PDF, just click on the “UPDF AI” icon on the bottom right corner of the screen (or just use the shortcut Ctrl + E).

It will prompt you for a permission to upload the pdf to the UPDF cloud. Just click “Get Started” and you’ll be ready to roll.

Now you have a full summary of your PDF, just like that! 🌟 

Now why this rather basic feature is good is due to the fact that it works great with longer documents 📃 

Trust me, I’ve used ChatGPT for analyzing bigger files, it usually turns out to be a total flop 👎️ 

With UPDF you can not only summarize those longer files, but also turn them into key points, extract keywords and generate an entire abstract.

Translation

Just click the “Chat” tab above and simply switch the prompt type to "Translate"

Pick your preferred language, and just paste the part of the PDF you want to translate.

Here they’ve deployed advanced AI algorithms to make it possible to translate any text into various languages 🗣️ 

If you’ve ever struggled with documents in a foreign language, or you have a client who only understands a foreign language, this’ll be great for you!

PDF explanation

Simply change the AI prompt type to "Explain," and paste the tricky text.

It turns the confusing stuff into plain and simple language for you to understand.

This feature is pretty cool if you often get sent some crazy in-depth information 😉 

BONUS FEATURE!

Not to mention, it also has AI-powered OCR scanning!

For those of you who don’t know, this pretty much means their AI model will scan the entire document, even images, and then convert it all into editable text ⚡️

SUPER helpful if you ask me!

Anyways, UPDF is available on MacOS, iOS, Windows and Android. And if you’re using different platforms, one license will be enough to work on all of them.
