Stability AI’s CEO resigns 📉 

Emad Mostaque, the founder and chief executive of Stability AI, has stepped down from his role as CEO 😢 

Mostaque’s departure comes amid an ongoing struggle at the startup, which was spending a reported estimate of $1 million per month as of October 2023 💵 

Stability AI had also unsuccessfully attempted to raise new funding at a $4 billion valuation. In a series of posts, Mostaque emphasized the need for decentralized AI and expressed that "one can’t beat ‘centralized AI’ with more ‘centralized AI’.

Meanwhile Stability AI has appointed its COO Shan Shan Wong and CTO Christian Laforte as interim co-CEOs 🤷
