AI that plays video games with you? 🤖🎮️ 

Google’s DeepMind research group has introduced an intriguing AI agent called SIMA—a Scalable, Instructable, Multiworld Agent 🤖 

Unlike traditional AI gaming agents that focus solely on winning, SIMA is trained to follow instructions and interact with generic 3D environments across a variety of different games simultaneously.

DeepMind trained SIMA on nine diverse open-world games, including titles like No Man’s Sky, Teardown, and Valheim 🎮️ 

The AI model responds to natural language commands and aims to be a believable partner rather than a superhuman opponent 👊 

The ultimate vision for SIMA is to provide AI agents that players can instruct and communicate with during cooperative gameplay.

While SIMA is still a research project, its potential lies in creating more helpful AI agents for any environment, beyond just gaming 🎮🤖

Midjourney’s latest feature 🤖 

Midjourney has recently rolled out a feature called “Character Reference”. This feature is designed to maintain consistency across AI-generated images, with a specific focus on maintaining character traits 👨 

When using the Character Reference feature, creators can append the code “–cref” to their prompt, followed by the URL of the image they want to use as a reference 🔗 

While it works best with Midjourney-generated images, other images can also be used ✅ 

Creators can customize the consistency level by adding the “–cw” tag, followed by a number between one and 100. This determines how closely the generated image should adhere to the source image 🖼️ 

Elon Musk ‘Opens’ Grok for the public 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 

Just after suing OpenAI few days ago, alleging the company has become too closed, Elon Musk says he will release his “truth-seeking” chatbot Grok, for anyone to download and use in the public ✅ 

This suggests his AI company, xAI, will release the full code of Grok and allow anyone to use or alter it ✍️ 

Amazon’s new step into AGI 🤖 

Amazon has introduced a generative AI feature to assist sellers in creating high-quality product listings 🛍️ 

Sellers can now provide a URL from their own website, and Amazon’s AI will automatically generate a complete product page, including detailed descriptions and images ✅ 

This streamlines the process for sellers, allowing them to transform existing product pages from other websites into tailored listings on Amazon with minimal effort. The company reports that 80% of sellers accept suggestions from these AI-powered tools 🛠️ 

This feature is a big time saver for sellers and reflects the growing impact of AI in enhancing e-commerce experiences 🛒🤖

Accessing Anthropic’s AI prompt library ⁉️

After dropping the new and improved version of their chatbot - Claude,

Anthropic also put together a library of prompts that anyone can use to get started with the chatbot, and gain inspiration for writing their own prompts ✅ 

You can use these techniques to actually boost your Claude (or ChatGPT 🤫) responses 📈 

Here are 2 of the best prompts I tested 👇️

1. Corporate clairvoyant

   
   “Your task is to analyse the following report:

   <report>

   Summarize this annual report in a concise and clear manner, and identify key market trends and takeaways. Output your findings as a short memo I can send to my team. The goal of the memo is to ensure my team stays up to date on how financial institutions are faring and qualitatively forecast and identify whether there are any operating and revenue risks to be expected in the coming quarter. Make sure to include all relevant details in your summary and analysis.”

2. Futuristic fashion advisor
