Elon Musk raises MORE money for xAI 🤖 

Elon Musk’s AI startup, xAI, has raised $6 billion in a new funding round. This is one of the largest deals in the emerging AI space. The funding round saw participation from Valor Equity Partners, Vy Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Fidelity, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, and Kingdom Holding 📈 

The funding confirms earlier reports that xAI was looking to raise $6 billion. The investment round was valued at $18 billion pre-money. Musk confirmed this in a tweet 👇️ 

The funds from the new financing round will be used to take its first set of products to market, build advanced infrastructure, and accelerate the research and development of future technologies ✅ 

Microsoft x Truecaller 📲 

Truecaller has announced a partnership with Microsoft to innovate the field of AI voice technologies. This collaboration will allow Truecaller to utilize the new Personal Voice technology from Microsoft Azure AI Speech 🗣️ 

With the addition of Microsoft Azure AI Speech’s Personal Voice, users of the Truecaller Assistant can now create a completely digital version of their own voice to use inside the Assistant. This means that callers can hear a replicated and authentic version of the user’s voice instead of one of the many digital assistants on offer 😳 

This feature on Truecaller’s Assistant will be rolling out over the next few weeks, starting with the U.S., Canada, Australia, South Africa, India, Sweden, and Chile. It will initially be available to public beta users and later to all users in the eligible markets ✅ 

Humane is looking for a buyer 💰️ 

Humane, the company behind the AI Pin, is reportedly seeking a buyer 😬 Here’s everything you need to know 👇️ 

• Humane is an AI startup that launched its first product, the Humane AI Pin. This wearable device was marketed as a smartphone alternative.

• However, the product received negative reviews due to a lack of features and finesse, which is said to have hurt sales 📉 

• The AI Pin was priced at $700 and received negative reviews.

• Despite raising $230 million from investors, the launch was disappointing^.

• The company is reportedly pricing itself between $750 million and $1 billion for the sale 💰️
