Elon Musk vs OpenAI 🥊 

Elon Musk on Friday sued ChatGPT maker OpenAI and its chief executive Sam Altman. The lawsuit alleges that OpenAI and its leadership have deviated from the company’s original mission of developing AI 🤖 

According to the lawsuit, Musk claims that when he funded OpenAI’s creation, he secured an agreement with Altman and Greg Brockman, the president, to keep the AI company as a non-profit that would develop technology for the benefit of the public. However, Musk alleges that OpenAI and its top executives have violated that pact and are “perverting” the company’s mission ❌ 

The lawsuit further alleges that OpenAI has been transformed into a closed-source de facto subsidiary of Microsoft. It accuses OpenAI of not just developing but actually refining an AGI to maximize profits for Microsoft, rather than for the benefit of humanity 🙍‍♂️ 

Copilot gets (yet) another update 📈 

Microsoft’s Windows 11 Copilot has received several upgrades to enhance user experience. Here are some key updates:

• New Plugins: Copilot now supports plugins for services like OpenTable and Kayak. Users can connect Copilot to these services for tasks like restaurant reservations or travel bookings ✈️ 
  

• New Skills: Starting in late March, Microsoft will add new skills to Copilot. These skills include toggling battery saver mode, displaying device, system, and battery information, launching live captions and text-to-speech Narrator, showing IP addresses, and more 📈 

These updates build on the introduction of the Copilot Key on new Windows 11 PC keyboards, updates to the Copilot icon on the taskbar, and the ability to dock, undock, and resize the Copilot pane 🧑‍✈️ 

Brave bringing its chatbot to Android 📱 

Brave is launching its AI-powered assistant, Leo, to the Google Play Store 🛍️ 

Leo enables users to ask questions, translate pages, summarize content, and more 📈 

This Android launch follows Leo's debut on desktop a few months ago. Brave plans to make Leo available on iOS devices in the coming weeks 📆

In January, Microsoft added a new feature to Copilot named Notebook 📖 

Notebook lets you iterate and tweak on a single prompt, so that you can achieve better outputs 📈

Here’s how to use it 👇️ 

1. Head over to Copilot Notebook. Here you will have a character limit of 18,000, unlike chat, which has a limit of 4,000.
   
   

   

   You will see an input and output interface 💻️ 

2. Simply write your prompt that you want to test, and press Shift+Enter to submit 🚀 

   This will send it to see the result to GPT-4 on the right.
   

   The unique split interface makes it very easy to test your prompts without having to create a new conversation each time 💪

3. Now, you can modify or fine-tune your prompt.
   
   Based on the results, you can keep doing the same until you find the best response to your prompt 📈
