Google released Gemini Live 🤖🗣️ 

Google has launched Gemini Live - their answer to ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode. Here are some details 👇️ 

• It allows users to have “in-depth” voice chats with Gemini, Google’s AI-powered chatbot 🤖 
  

• The feature is designed to deliver more consistent, emotionally expressive, and realistic multi-turn dialogue.
  

• Users can interrupt Gemini while it’s speaking to ask follow-up questions, and it will adapt to their speech patterns in real time.
  

• Gemini Live is hands-free, meaning you can keep speaking with the Gemini app in the background or when your phone is locked.
  

• It is not free and will only be available to Gemini Advanced subscribers, which costs $20/month.
  

• Gemini Live will roll out in more languages and to iOS users in the coming weeks.
  

• Gemini Live is also available in 10 new voices so your conversations with the AI can feel even more authentic.

However, there are a few things that Gemini Live currently does not support:

• Gemini Live cannot understand your emotions from your tone 🤷 
  

• It cannot simulate any other voice than the 10 voices available in the app
  

• The multimodal inputs feature, which allows Gemini Live to take inputs from your phone’s camera in real time, is not going to be available at launch.

Grok 2.0 is way better than you thought 🤖 

xAI, owned by Elon Musk, has released Grok-2. This new model has the capability to generate images on X 🖼️ 

The release of Grok-2 has sparked debates due to its unrestricted image generation capabilities, especially around creating images of political figures 🤔 

xAI has also released Grok-2 mini, a smaller but capable sibling of Grok-2. Both Grok-2 and Grok-2 mini are available to users on X in beta. The company plans to make both models available to developers through its enterprise API later this month 📆 

However, access to Grok is currently limited to Premium and Premium+ users on X.

CodeRabbit’s BIG funding round 💰️ 

CodeRabbit, a startup specializing in AI-powered code review automation, has raised $16 million in a Series A funding round 🤑 

CodeRabbit has created an AI-powered platform that automates code reviews. The platform uses “advanced AI reasoning” to understand the intent behind code and deliver actionable, human-like feedback to developers 👨‍💻 

The new funding will be used to broaden CodeRabbit’s product offerings and integrations. It will also focus on enhancing its security vulnerability analysis capabilities 🛡️
