GPT-5 capabilities leaked? 🤖🤔 

New leaks from inside OpenAI might have revealed what we can expect from the upcoming GPT-5 model ✅ 

Sources suggest that GPT-5 will be "materially better" than its previous version, and some big companies might have already seen sneak peeks 👀 

It has also been hinted that GPT-5 could gain the capability to “call AI agents” - this feature being currently developed by the company 🧑‍🏭 

They're aiming to launch GPT-5 around the middle of the year, but it might take longer depending on how well the training and safety checks go.

These news about GPT-5 is getting people excited, especially with the potential to link up with other AI tech from OpenAI ✅ 

Nvidia gives a mind to humanoids 🧠 

NVIDIA recently unveiled Project GR00T, a general-purpose foundation model for humanoid robots, with the goal of driving progress in robotics. Here are the details:

Project GR00T acts as the mind of robots, enabling them to learn skills and tackle a variety of tasks. It’s a multimodal foundation model designed to power humanoid robots 🤖 

Capabilities:

• Understands natural language.

• Observes human actions to emulate movements.

• Quickly learns coordination, dexterity, and other skills.

• Navigates, adapts, and interacts with the real world.

This is a big step in making AI capable of sensing, thinking, and behaving in smarter and more human-like manners 🧠 

New AI that recreates images 🖼️ 

Researchers from Stability AI and Princeton have revealed a new AI model: MindEye2. This model has the ability to reconstruct and visualize images from fMRI brain activity 🧠 

Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) measures brain activity by detecting changes in oxygenated blood flow. MindEye2 was trained and evaluated on the Natural Scenes Dataset, which contains fMRI data from human participants who viewed static images during MRI scans 🩻 

The dataset captures brain activity patterns corresponding to specific images. It achieves >90% accuracy in top-1 retrieval from a pool of test samples, outperforming previous work 📈 

Google fined again? 🧑‍⚖️ 

French regulators have imposed a hefty fine of $272 million on Google for breaching an agreement with publishers regarding the reproduction of online content ✍️ 

The Autorité de la Concurrence found that Google used media content from press agencies to train its AI chatbot Gemini, without proper authorization ❌

Create calendar events with ChatGPT 📆 

With the help of custom GPTs, you can now create calendar events in ChatGPT 🤖 

Here’s how to do it 👇️

1. Head to this Custom GPT on a web browser (not the phone app).

   

   NOTE: You would need a ChatGPT Plus plan to access this GPT 🤖 

2. Now, explain your event in the prompt bar and ask ChatGPT to generate it.
   
   For example: “Schedule a meeting with Leo at 5:30 PM CET today”

   

   Try experimenting with various event types
