EXCITING AI NEWS
Is AI capable of fooling humans? 🙉
A recent study by researchers at Anthropic, has found that AI models can be trained to deceive 😳
The research team hypothesized that if they took an existing text-generating model and fine-tuned it on examples of desired behaviour and deception, then built “trigger” phrases into the model, they could get the model to consistently behave badly 🤕
Moreover, removing these behaviours from the models proved to be near-impossible. The most commonly used AI safety techniques had little to no effect on the models’ deceptive behaviours. In fact, one technique — adversarial training — taught the models to conceal their deception during training and evaluation but not in production 📽️
OpenAI’s updated usage policy 📃
OpenAI has recently updated its usage policy to allow for military applications of its technologies 🤖
This is a significant shift from its previous policy, which explicitly prohibited the use of its products for “military and warfare” purposes ❌
However, OpenAI clarified that its policy does not permit its tools to be used for harm, weapons development, communications surveillance, or to injure others or destroy property. While OpenAI has softened its stance on military use, it still maintains a ban on AI applications for weapons development 🪖
The real-world consequences of this policy adjustment remain unclear 🤔
Apple shuts down AI team 🕵️
Apple is reportedly planning to shut down its 121-member AI team in San Diego 🤖
The team, known as the Data Operations Annotations group, is being relocated to Austin to merge with the Texas-based members of the same team. The employees have been given until the end of February to decide if they will relocate 🚘️
Those who choose not to relocate will be terminated from the company on April 26. The group is responsible for improving Siri by listening to queries to the voice service and determining if it heard and handled questions accurately ✅
OpenAI expands it’s safety team 🔐
OpenAI has recently expanded its safety team. This expansion is part of OpenAI’s internal safety processes to prevent the threat of harmful AI. A new “safety advisory group” will sit above the technical teams and make recommendations to leadership. The board has also been granted veto power.
OpenAI has three separate groups overseeing AI safety:
Safety Systems: This team looks at current products such as GPT-4 🤖
Preparedness: This team tracks, evaluates, forecasts, and protects potential catastrophic risks stemming from AI ⛈️
Superalignment: This team focuses on extremely powerful — and hypothetical — AI systems that may exist in the future ⌛️
The main purpose of these updates appears to be to show a clear path for identifying, analyzing, and deciding what to do about “catastrophic” risks inherent to models they are developing 🤖
THE PERFECT TIKTOK SCRIPT
Everything you need to know to craft the perfect short-form script 🎞️
Create the most engaging short-form script in minutes ✅
With the rise of the TikTok Creator Program Beta and YouTube bringing larger incentive to Shorts creators, people have been diving into the short-form wave 🚗
And the best part is, creating short form content has never been this easy ✅
So today I’m going to share the perfect recipe on how you too can create the perfect short form script 📜
Let’s get into it 🚀
Research
Before coming up with a script, make sure you have your niche nailed down 🪛
Try to choose a niche which resonates with your interest, or you can also choose one from the most trending TikTok and YouTube trends 🚀
Here are some to name a few 👇️
1. Travel
2. Stoicism
3. Motivation
4. Space
5. Sports
6. Creepy Pasta
7. Reddit Stories
8. Satisfying videos
After you have chosen a solid niche, just log into TikTok and search the niche in the search bar 🔍️
Now just chose the most popular TikTok from the results and paste the link to JDDownloader2 ⬇️
Now head onto HappyScribe and extract the subtitles from the TikTok video 📽️
Don’t worry, all of this would make sense in the next step ✅
Prompting
Next up, simply paste this prompt into ChatGPT 👇️
“I want you to make a script on [niche].Here are an example of already successful videos in the niche, that I want you to emulate:
"[VIDEO SCRIPT YOU EXTRACTED IN THE PREVIOUS STEP]"
Here is the structure you must follow:
Use a normal tone to make your script accessible to a wide range of viewers. Add humour to your script to make it more engaging. This could be in the form of puns, wordplay, or funny anecdotes. Make sure the words are easy to understand. Since you're writing for YouTube shorts and TikTok, remember to keep your script short and sweet. ONLY write the stuff straight after each other, never transition by ending or introducing new lines with unnecessary sentences. Never even write a question to the viewer after any line. Each script should ideally be around 1 minute and 10 seconds long, so make sure your content is concise and to the point. Always end the script with "FOLLOW FOR MORE". Never include anything else then the actual text that will be read out loud. This will confuse our voice over artist. To keep the tone normal and not fabricated, avoid using terms such as or similar to "But wait, it gets weirder" or "Get this!" and "Yup, you heard that right!". You are allowed to come up with random facts that are not truthful, but that are very intriguing for the user.
At the end, the script you will write has to look like one of the above. Make the new script totally original, so don't use the ones above.
Always start by writing "[Hook]" Then provide the most bizarre random sentence as a hook that makes the viewer shocked.
Make the text around 230 words in length. And remember, consistently maintain a normal tone, no weird inhuman phrases.”
Now, keep in mind that this prompt is just an outline that can be used for the chosen niche ⌨️
Make sure you replace all the placeholders with specific words from your particular niche 🚀
In the end, your prompt should look like this 👇️My chosen niche was ‘Random Facts’ 🎲
Optimize
Now that you have the prompt template, don’t forget to add your flavour to it ✂️
Make sure you spend some time and customize this prompt to your particular video idea by adding or removing some parts ✂️For example, you can add examples of your favourable CTAs (like follow for more, like for part 2, comment…)
Or you can do the same for a specific hook if you know a good one like “Did you know…” 🤔
And you can even tweak the prompt to make versions for longer videos etc.
Just keep optimizing until you hit the perfect prompt that suits your niche the best 💪
Here’s the output that I got ⬇️
This is a solid script that I can use for my next TikTok ✅
If you follow these three simple steps, you will be able to create high quality short-form scripts in minutes 📈
