What is happening within OpenAI? 🤔 

John Schulman, one of the co-founders of OpenAI, has departed from the company to join rival AI startup Anthropic 😬 

Schulman’s decision to leave OpenAI was made because he wanted to “engage in more hands-on technical work”. He also said that OpenAI will continue to thrive without him.

Additionally, OpenAI’s president and co-founder, Greg Brockman, is taking an extended leave until the end of the year to “relax and recharge” after nine years with the company.

With Schulman’s exit, only three of OpenAI’s original eleven founders remain: CEO Sam Altman, Brockman, and Wojciech Zaremba 🤔 

YouTube’s new Gemini integration for creators 👀 

YouTube is currently testing a feature called “Brainstorm with Gemini” that allows creators to brainstorm video ideas, titles, and thumbnails using Google Gemini ✅ 

This integration provides inspiration for content creation and helps creators jump-start their video projects. It’s part of a limited experiment, and YouTube will consider feedback from creators before deciding on a broader rollout

Reddit plans to introduce AI search 🤖 

Reddit is planning to test AI-powered search result pages 🔍️ 

According to Reddit co-founder and CEO Steve Huffman, they will soon introduce AI-generated summaries at the top of search results ✅ 

The company will use a combination of first-party and third-party technology for this initiative.

Amazon Music 🤝 AI

Amazon Music recently introduced a new AI-powered feature called “Topics.” 🎙️ 

With Topics, you can explore podcast episodes based on specific topics discussed within them ✅ 

As you visit the episode pages of popular podcasts, look for relevant Topics tags beneath the episode descriptions. Tapping on these tags will display a list of related episodes, allowing you to discover content based on your interests^.

This feature is definitely a game changer if you find it difficult to search podcasts based on particular topics, like me. 😆
