OpenAI Japan reveals “GPT-Next” 🤖 

Tadao Nagasaki, the CEO of OpenAI Japan, recently announced that a new AI model called GPT-Next is in development 🤖 

He claimed that GPT-Next will be 100 times more powerful than GPT-4 🤯 

GPT-Next will use a smaller version of “Strawberry”, the advanced AI system that OpenAI is currently developing 🍓 

It is also anticipated to have multimodal capabilities, meaning it can process text, images, and potentially video.

If translations are accurate, GPT-Next can be the next big leap that everyone has been waiting for, maybe even AGI? 🤷 

GPT-5 is releasing soon? 👀 

At Semicon Taiwan, a Samsung executive revealed an image which suggested that GPT-5 might have 3.5 trillion parameters, more than double of what GPT-4 has 😳 

These hints are getting more official, louder and public. Presumably the release is now imminent because of the publicity GPT-5 is currently receiving from higher ups 📈 

Ex-OpenAI co-founder’s HUGE funding round 💵 

Ilya Sutskever, ex-OpenAI co-founder, has raised $1 billion in funding for his new startup, Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI), has 📈 

SSI aims to develop safe AI systems that significantly surpass human capabilities 🤔 

These funds will be used to acquire computing power and hire top talent, with teams based in Palo Alto and Tel Aviv. Sutskever, who co-founded SSI after leaving OpenAI, emphasizes that the company will focus on advancing AI capabilities while ensuring safety remains a priority 🛡️ 

Anthropic’s answer to ChatGPT Enterprise 📖 

Anthropic has recently launched Claude Enterprise, a new subscription plan for Claude, aimed at enterprise customers.

This move is designed to compete directly with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise.

One of the standout features of Claude Enterprise is its 500,000-token context window. This allows the AI to process extensive amounts of data in a single prompt, such as 200,000 lines of code, dozens of 100-page documents, or a two-hour audio transcript ✅ 

Claude Enterprise also includes features like Projects and Artifacts, which allow multiple users to upload and edit content collaboratively 🤝 

Additionally, it also offers GitHub integration for engineering teams to sync their repositories with Claude 🧑‍💻 

xAI reveals world’s most powerful AI cluster 🤖 

Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has recently launched “Colossus,” which is now the world’s most powerful AI training cluster 😳 

This supercomputer is powered by 100,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs and was built in just 122 days. Musk also plans to double its power by adding another 50,000 H200 GPUs in the coming months!

Colossus is designed to train the latest version of xAI’s language model, GROK-3, and aims to surpass other leading AI systems.

This definitely positioned xAI at the forefront of AI research and development, and should be used as a benchmark by other companies 📈
