OpenAI new release - Canvas, explained 👇️ 

OpenAI has recently introduced a new interface called Canvas for ChatGPT, designed to enhance writing and coding projects 🧑‍💻 

This new feature opens a separate window alongside the usual chat interface, allowing users to collaborate more effectively with ChatGPT on complex tasks ✅ 

Canvas offers several useful tools 👇️ 

• Writing Shortcuts: Users can get inline suggestions, adjust the length of their text, change the reading level, and even add emojis for emphasis.

• Coding Shortcuts: It includes features like code review, adding comments, debugging, and translating code into different programming languages.

Currently, Canvas is available to ChatGPT Plus and Teams users, with plans to roll it out to Enterprise and Edu users soon 📆 

Google Lens gets a major upgrade! 🔍️ 

Google Lens has been upgraded to answer questions about videos. This new feature allows users to capture a video with their phone and ask questions about objects in the frame.

Google Lens will then provide an AI-generated overview and relevant information from the web 🌐 

This feature is currently available to English-speaking users on both Android and iOS through the Google app 📱 

Additionally, Google Lens now supports voice input for photos and has improved its shopping capabilities by showing product prices and reviews 🛍️ 

OpenAI’s RECORD BREAKING funding round 💰️ 

OpenAI has successfully raised a record-breaking $6.6 billion in its latest funding round, bringing the company’s valuation to an impressive $157 billion 😳 

This funding round was led by major investors including Thrive Capital, Khosla Ventures, Microsoft, and Nvidia 📈 

The new funds will be used to enhance OpenAI’s leadership in AI research, increase compute capacity, and continue developing tools that help people solve complex problems ✅ 

Google integrates ads into AI Overviews 🤖 

Google has started integrating ads into its AI Overviews, which are AI-generated summaries provided for certain search queries.

The ads will appear alongside the AI-generated content and are designed to be relevant to the user’s query 😬
