This AI can create games 🎮️🤖 

Google researchers, in collaboration with Tel Aviv University, have developed GameNGen. This AI model can simulate the classic 1993 game Doom in real-time at over 20 frames per second 🎮️ 

GameNGen uses a custom diffusion model based on Stable Diffusion to generate the game’s frames without a traditional game engine 📈 

The AI can interactively simulate Doom, understanding basic game rules like items, ammo, enemies, and keycard doors. However, it does have some limitations, such as minor visual glitches and logical inconsistencies due to its short memory span.

Apple and Nvidia’s big investment plans 👀 

There are reports that Apple and Nvidia are in discussions to become major investors in OpenAI’s next fundraising round 📈 

This next round could value OpenAI at around $100 billion 😳💰️ 

OpenAI has strong ties with both companies: it uses Nvidia’s GPUs for training its AI models, and Apple has integrated ChatGPT into its iOS 18 as part of Apple Intelligence ✅ 

Gemini introduces Gems 💎 

Google has recently introduced a new feature called Gems for its Gemini AI platform. This is similar to custom GPTs on ChatGPT and allows users to create customized AI assistants tailored to specific tasks or topics 🤖 

This feature is currently available for Gemini Advanced, Business, and Enterprise users.

Apple brings AI photo editing to iOS 🪄 

Apple has introduced a new feature in the latest iOS 18.1 developer beta called "Clean Up".

This tool allows users to remove unwanted objects from photos. You can simply tap, circle, or brush over the object you want to remove, and the AI will handle the rest, filling in the background seamlessly 🪄 

It’s available in the Photos app and can be used on any image in your library 📱

2. Simply upload the sketch you want to animate (or select from the ones already provided).

   

3. Now, after confirming your subject - just mark the character joints to help Meta AI animate it better!
