The “Netflix of AI” ⏩️ 

The Simulation, formerly known as Fable Studio, has revealed a new platform called Showrunner, which is being referred to as the "Netflix of AI". This platform allows users to generate and watch AI-powered TV shows set in virtual simulated worlds ✅ 

Users can create their own content with prompts such as characters, storylines, and shot types. To showcase these abilities, Fable released two episodes of its Showrunner-produced series, an animated cartoon titled Exit Valley 😳 

The CEO of Fable, Edward Saatchi mentioned that users can finish a show that they enjoy and make new episodes, and even put themselves and their friends in episodes 🤖 

The platform is currently in its alpha phase and is offering users the chance to apply for its Alpha program. The Showrunner waitlist is currently at 50,000 📈 

Stability’s newest AI music model 🤖 

Stability AI has recently released a sound-generating AI model called Stable Audio Open 🎵 

Users can write a text prompt for a sample or sound effect, and it will generate up to 47 seconds of audio ⏲️ 

It can be used to create drumbeats, instrument riffs, ambient noises and “production elements” for videos, films and TV shows. It also allows users to “edit” existing songs or apply the style of one song to another ✅ 

However, it can’t produce full songs, melodies or vocals 😬 

Stability AI released the AI model in open source to empower sound designers, musicians, and creative communities 📈 

AI x WhatsApp for business 🤖

Meta has recently announced the addition of AI-powered features to its WhatsApp Business app. These new features were unveiled by CEO Mark Zuckerberg at the Meta Conversations conference in Brazil.

AI can help businesses create ads on Facebook and Instagram that initiate a WhatsApp chat with a business ✅ 

Another significant feature is the AI-powered customer support, which can automatically answer customer queries related to catalog or frequently asked questions 🛒 

Meta is also introducing the ability to call larger businesses on WhatsApp in just one tap 📲 

The tools are being offered for free, targeting merchants who may not wish to purchase additional tools 🤝 

Google saving coral reefs with AI? 🪸 

Google has developed a new AI tool called SurfPerch in collaboration with Google Research and DeepMind to help marine biologists better understand coral reef ecosystems and their health 🪸 

SurfPerch was trained on thousands of hours of audio reef recordings. This allows scientists studying the reef to be able to “hear reef health from the inside”, track reef activity at night, and track reefs that are in deep or murky waters.

The project began by inviting the public to listen to reef sounds via the web. Over the past year, visitors to Google’s Calling in our Corals website listened to over 400 hours of reef audio from sites around the world and were told to click when they heard a fish sound

The project continues today, as new audio is added to the Calling in Our Corals website, which will help to further train the AI model, Google says ✅
