The next wave of AI for Microsoft is here🤖

Microsoft has just announced the next wave of its Copilot AI, known as Wave 2. This update brings several new features and improvements to the Microsoft 365 suite:

• Copilot is now more deeply integrated with Microsoft 365 apps like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, allowing for more seamless and efficient workflows ✅ 
  

• New AI agents can be created easily within SharePoint to automate and streamline processes, acting like well-informed teammates 🤝 
  

• Copilot Pages: This feature allows users to create interactive pages from chats and share insights with their teams, enhancing collaboration 📈

Thanks to these changes, Microsoft Office products are more integrated with AI than ever!

OpenAI’s O1 is probably smarter than you 🧠 

In various tests conducted for OpenAI’s o1 models, including a qualifying exam for the International Mathematics Olympiad, the o1 model performed exceptionally well, solving 83% of the problems compared to 13% by previous models 📈 

Additionally, in coding competitions, it reached the 89th percentile🧑‍💻 

In the Norway Mensa IQ test, the o1 model scored 120, 20 points higher than the average human and 30 points higher than other high-level AI models like Claude 😳

Slack 🤝 AI

Slack has announced a suite of new AI-powered features. Here are some of the key details 👇️ 

1. Agentforce: An AI assistant that can answer questions, provide status updates, draft emails, and even roleplay sales scenarios to help users practice negotiation skills 🤖 
   

2. Huddle Notes: This feature summarizes real-time audio and messages from huddle threads into transcripts, complete with citations, action items, and files ✍️ 
   

3. Workflow Builder: Allows users to create automated workflows using natural language instructions 🗣️ 
   

4. Enhanced Search: The internal search engine now includes information from various sources like uploaded files, video transcripts, and Google files 🔍️

Meta admits to data misuse 😳 

Meta has recently admitted to using public posts and images from Facebook and Instagram, dating back to 2007, to train its AI models. This includes all publicly accessible content unless users have set their posts to private.

In regions like the EU, users can opt out of this data collection due to GDPR laws, but this option isn’t available in many other places. 🤷

Here’s a step-by-step 👇️ 

1. Visit Claude AI and create an account.

2. Start by having a lengthy conversation about your project.

3. When ready, simply type in the prompt:
   
   "Create a mermaid timeline rundown of this chat. Provide at least three sentences explaining each key discussion point. Skip errors and start from the first chat, focusing on the most important parts. Include the chat content, actions taken, and the purpose of each section. Make sure it displays visually in the code preview."

4. Go through your generated timeline and use it to recap, share, or analyse the chat progress of your project.
