Meta’s new AI tool is realistic than ever 🤖 

Meta recently announced their new AI tool called Movie Gen. This tool can generate realistic videos and audio from simple text prompts. Here are some key points:

• Video Generation: Movie Gen can create 16-second HD videos based on text descriptions.

• Audio Generation: It can also generate synchronized audio, including sound effects and background music 🎵 

• Personalization: Users can also personalize videos using their own photos.

Also, this tool is set to be integrated into Instagram in 2025 😳 

We have had many text-to-video tools in the past, but this is the first one which can generate sound along with the video. Here are some great examples 👇️ 

Meta’s AI glasses cause privacy concerns 😬 

Two Harvard students, AnhPhu Nguyen and Caine Ardayfio, just showcased a system using Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses that allows the wearer to access personal information about strangers 😳 

Two students used a system called I-XRAY by combining Meta's smart glasses with custom software. This system uses facial recognition, reverse image search, and large language models (LLMs) to identify people and retrieve personal information, such as names, addresses, and phone numbers 🤔 

They even tested I-XRAY on Harvard's campus, successfully identifying strangers and their details.

Privacy concerns have arisen since Meta confirmed it might use images and videos shared with Meta AI for training purposes.

Google Lens gets a major upgrade! 🔍️ 

Google Lens has been upgraded to answer questions about videos. This new feature allows users to capture a video with their phone and ask questions about objects in the frame.

Google Lens will then provide an AI-generated overview and relevant information from the web 🌐 

This feature is currently available to English-speaking users on both Android and iOS through the Google app 📱 

Additionally, Google Lens now supports voice input for photos and has improved its shopping capabilities by showing product prices and reviews 🛍️ 

Uber to integrate more AI into EVs ✅ 

Uber is set to launch an AI assistant powered by GPT-4o to help drivers with questions about electric vehicles (EVs) 🤖 

This initiative is part of Uber’s ongoing efforts to promote the adoption of EVs among its drivers. The AI assistant will be available starting early 2025 in the U.S. and will provide personalized answers about EV-related topics, such as where to charge the vehicles and which models to consider 🤔 

Additionally, Uber is introducing an “EV mentorship program” where experienced EV drivers can mentor those new to electric vehicles, offering guidance and earning rewards
